Kestrel Feeding & Lunch at La Vallée de Ferney

La Vallée de Ferney is a natural reserve designed to preserve the native forest of Mauritius and its unique biodiversity. More than just a walk, exploring the valley is an unforgettable experience in a unique place, where the pleasures of hiking are associated with the protection of the environment. Spend a day immersed in one of the last natural sanctuaries in Mauritius at La Vallée de Ferney while encountering a wide variety of native species, many of which are rare or endangered. Enjoy a guided walk of 3 km of an in-depth experience where you will be in communion with nature and its history.

After a guided walk through the dense forest, a unique show awaits you Pepito and Pepita, the Kestrel birds fill  the forest with a sweet melody that  reminds us of the simple yet unmatchable beauty of nature. The Kestrel birds are also fed by the guides.  For lunch, you will head to the Ferney Falaise Rouge restaurant, located 2 minutes away from Ferney La Vallée. Enjoy a delicious 3-course meal by sampling a selection of delectable dishes including local produce such as venison, chicken and fish. The restaurant also offers magnificent sea-views facing the Grand-Port bay and Lion Mountain.
