Yemen is a domain located on the West Coast of Mauritius, between the mountains of Tamarin and Les Trois Mammelles. It hosts two of the longest rivers on the island – Rivière Rempart and Tamarin River – and is a haven for all sorts of native wildlife. Comprising 4,500 hectares of parkland, a visit to the Yemen Reserve is like stepping into the middle of the African savannah. Rustic kiosks are scattered throughout the reserve so visitors can enjoy fantastic views of the wildlife, tropical flora and stunning West Coast.There are many opportunities to photograph and interact with the animals here, so it’s a great place for nature lovers and those seeking tranquillity in beautiful surroundings.
