Visit & Lunch At Domaine de Bois Cheri

Discover the Domaine of Bois Cheri,  the first tea plantation in Mauritius dates back to 1892, part of the famous Mauritius tea route. You will discover the process of tea manufacturing in the tea museum and factory , the guides will show the visitors the harvested tea leaves and the factory whilst explaining the different steps of production , from harvest to packaging.

Visitors may continue the tea tasting in the chalet, Le chalet du Domaine de Bois Chéri overlooking the domaine and Le lac des Cygnes du Domaine de Bois Chéri, a truly unmissable experience. There you will be able to appreciate a delicious lunch and taste the Mauritian cuisnie flavours (Optional Lunch). With a view on the lake surrounded by the first tea plantations with tea plants of at least 125 years old. Experience its beautiful greatness and natural park with extensive and beautiful lush grounds where deers, ducks and swans roam around freely.
